The sleek and sturdy hammer drill has been
designed to maximise performance, with the new
4.0 Ah lithium battery lasting 33 percent longer
than previous models.
“The Snap-on 8850H has the features to make
it more productive and powerful than ever, so it
works long and hard, all day,” Adam Scott,
Product Manager for Snap-on Tools Australia and
New Zealand, said.
“But it feels easy to use, thanks to the cushion
grip and ergonomic design. It’s built tough, but
it’s not tough on the user.”
The hammer drill has all the power for the tough
jobs, plus the precision and ease of handling you
need. Featuring a 1/2" single sleeve steel chuck
with carbide jaws, the hammer drill’s heavy duty
gearing is designed for metal drilling.
The moulded ergonomic cushion grip absorbs
vibration and reduces user fatigue while the
digital microprocessor controlled variable speed
switch maximises performance, runtime and
durability. The hammer drill’s 22 position clutch
with two speed gearbox provides torque control
for the correct application. The super bright one
watt LED illuminates the work area and the
stainless steel motor screen keeps debris out of
the motor to extend tool life.

Leading equipment manufacturer Durst Industries has just
released an updated version of its signature BJT-75 12V
“Durst’s JumpStarter Range has always been in a class of its own.
We service both the Mining and Defence industries and our quality
products are at an unmatched level,” Durst Business Development
Manager, Matthew Rog, said.
Durst has designed the BJT-75 to be a perfect fit in any workshop
environment. Mr Rog added that using a Trolley configuration is
one of the best features of this model, which is still 100 percent
portable and can be safely lifted into service vehicles as required.
High-current maintenance free AGM cells provide maximum
cranking power even in adverse weather. The BJT-75 JumpStarter
is capable of starting all petrol and diesel engines with ease and
long lasting reserve capacity means you can start multiple vehicles
Safety is a top priority, not just for the technician but also for the customer. As such all Durst
JumpStarters are fitted with Piezo buzzers and high current fuses to ensure there is no damage from
over-cranking and reverse polarity connections.
Long 1.8 metre leads mean the unit can be parked at a safe distance from the vehicle. High quality
clamps ensure no drop in cranking power and the included Durst SmartCharger ensures fast and
accurate charging of the unit to maximise life span.
“We now live in a disposable world but Durst Products do not suffer from this way of thinking,” Mr
Rog said. “Durst provides a service to the Industry and that is partly why we have survived for over
96 years, manufacturing equipment in Australia for Australia as well as abroad.”
All Durst products are serviceable, with parts and calibration facilities available through its Sydney
