It all started with the SuperPro Polyelast Hybrid
Bushings. The front and rear differential support
bushings for Falcon and Territory was the first on
the release list for this new technology.
These revolutionary bushes solved a problem that
has plagued these platforms for years.
Over the course of 2015 the volume of sales of
these kits along with the feedback from
mechanical workshops and customers, has
demonstrated the SuperPro solution has been
widely accepted as one of the best ways to
successfully repair these vehicles.
“In 2015. the greatest achievement was the
development and delivery of the new hybrid
bushing, this takes SuperPro to a higher level to
offer solutions in bushings,” Managing Director,
Graham Scudamore-Smith said.
In 2016 SuperPro plans to release even more
ground breaking technical advances in
polyurethane bushing design.
Following on from the success of the Polyelast
Hybrid in the Ford range, the Hybrid bushes will
be incorporated into a number of vehicles with
similar isolation issues, these will include the
new Ford Mustang, Jeep Grand Cherokee,
Mitsubishi Pajero, Nissan 350Z, 370Z, R35
GTR, Skyline V36 Skyline, R51 Pathfinder and
Mazda CX9 just to name a few.
One of the key focus points of 2016 for the
SuperPro team will also include expanding the
range of easy to fit, short shell control arm
These bushes have proven to be far easier to fit
and perform as well as, if not better, than the
original SuperPro design on the Hilux. In 2016,
the range will be expanded further to include Ford
Ranger, D40 Navara NP300, Honda FD2 Civic,
Toyota Prado 120 and 150 series.
Following on from this will be the SuperPro
polyurethane shelled (steel free) components.
This is a polyurethane shell made from a harder
durometer or hardness that is bonded to a softer
These dual durometer components will be easy
to fit and replicate the use of OE “plastic shelled”
components. By using plastic shelled rubber
bushing components, OE manufacturers negate
the need for a perfectly machined suspension
arm position for the bushing.
Until now there were only two ways to combat
this, make a steel shelled bushing that was
difficult to fit or make a non-shelled part that
could potentially have performance issues. This
new SuperPro approach will be the perfect
solution – form and function built into one part.
SuperPro is initiating a suspension arm program
that is constantly expanding and one of the key
categories is the 4x4 sector.
The newest and most anticipated addition to the
range will be the SuperPro Polyelast High Flex
Castor Arms for the Nissan Patrol and Toyota
These arms have been designed from the ground
up incorporating SuperPro Polyelast bushings and
with a “built in” caster increase of up to 3.75
The off-road testing has proven these arms will
be a winner, superior to anything else available.
SuperPro Polyelast bushes deliver more
articulation than an OE rubber bush, without any
deformation and excessive loading. The secret is
in the material and the design of the profile.
In addition, SuperPro has completely re-designed
the Lift-Align Adjustable Upper Control arms to
suit 2005 on Hilux, Navara and Mitsubishi Triton.
Design changes in material, manufacture and
geometry will ensure a product that is second to
none in the market place.
Passenger car complete control arms will form a
big part of the SuperPro range in 2016. All arms
will utilise either SuperPro or SuperPro Polyelast
bushings and will be packed and sold in pairs.
Along with all this, SuperPro will be keeping up
with all of the latest vehicle releases and
incorporating cutting edge technological
advancements into new vehicle products. As one
of the market leaders in the UK and Europe this
will include a significant focus on the extremely
successful Euro range.
“The real value that SuperPro offers is its culture
and history – coupled with an understanding of
customers and market expectations, you have a
brand without innovative limits,” Mr Scudamore-
In 2016, you will be able to see SuperPro
products at the 4x4 Show in Brisbane and
