"We have used our experience and resources to
develop bushings that cater for these demands and
we back our products," he said.
"We are innovators not imitators, and that's why
we have absolutely no issue offering a lifetime
warranty on-road, off-road, race, or motorsport.
"We are also happy to replace competitor
products when they fail, because we know once a
customer tries our products they'll never go back."
Competitor product offer
SuperPro will replace any brand of automotive
polyurethane bushing which has failed due to factory
defects in material and/or workmanship with
SuperPro must receive the failed parts, part
number information, customer or workshop details,
and an undying commitment to "never to go back
again" for the offer to be redeemed.
Also, if the competitor product has not
completely failed but the vibrations, harshness, and
squeaks are absolutely killing you or your customer,
we'll give you a SuperPro replacement for 40% off
our retail price
This offer is only available until June 30, 2013.
To claim the offer fill out the registration form on
the website www.SuperPro.com.au or call SuperPro
direct on 07 3892 9000. Full terms and conditions
are available on the website.
- Sway bar bushing friction free and floating
design -- with spiral bore for the efficient
transfer of lubricant, and knurling to reduce
surface area ensuring unrestricted movement
- Tangential grease grooves -- retains grease
between shackle bush heads and plates,
- Bullet grooves -- allow for variation in control arms or spring eyes,
allowing the bush to fit a greater tolerance of eye sizes
- Turbo style voiding -- a high performance bushing to minimise
transmission or high frequency vibrations by use of a unique turbo
- The Double Helix - this design feature is extremely successful in
greaseable shackles as the grease can travel from the centre of the bush
along the helix and out to the grease grooves in the head of the bush.
- Articulated S-link bushing -- originally designed for the 4x4 market in
the early 1990s, the articulated S-link is the ideal solution for long travel
suspension sway bar coupling.
- Caster off-set bushing -- provides caster correction in non-adjustable
suspensions. SuperPro was the first in the early 1990s to create caster
offset adjustment as part of an aftermarket bushing design.
- Anti-lift and anti-dive correction -- Sometimes referred to as ALK,
SuperPro was the first to manufacture "anti" geometry correction
bushings in 1998. This was in response to a known problem with
chronic understeer on corner exit with front-wheel-drives.
- Roll centre correction -- Another popular modification and suspension
geometry correction solution that the Australian SuperPro factory
manufactured in 2002 and is still used by the industry today. SuperPro's
deep understanding of the suspension system as a whole helped the
company produce and co-develop a range of OEM products that reduce
roll and improve dynamic grip.
Needless to say these game changing industry developments are now
covered by a lifetime warranty for any sort of use, whether it be road, race,
on and off-road, so your customer is not limited in their use and enjoyment
of the SuperPro design and technology. Meanwhile, the innovation and
development continues with products designed to work for life on-road
and off-road. These include:
- DuroBall metal-poly hybrid bushing system - SuperPro was the first to
design a replacement Vertical Pivot Bush (VPB) using polyurethane back
in 1994. OEM's now commonly utilise the VPB system to precisely locate
control arm pivot points to the chassis.
As a follow-up to the VPB, DuroBall was launched at the 2011 AAAA
Expo and is SuperPro's answer for more precision in steering and
handling. Combining SuperPro's engineered polyurethane with a
specialised metal ball joint to allow
DuroBall to deliver all the articulation
benefits of a vertical pivot solution
provides greater durability and service life.
"We believe it's the toughest AND smartest
bushing kit around," Graham Scudamore-
"It's the best of all worlds with extra caster
performance options too."
- Hard anodised aluminium /poly bearing
system -- Load bearing bushings in lower
control arm applications have specially
designed hard anodised aluminium inserts
to create an internal bearing surface in
the bush. This design is unique to
SuperPro and has once again made its
lower control arm bushings in these
applications the most durable, innovative,
and lightest in the market.
- Hard anodised aluminium crush tubes --
SuperPro's latest innovation is the
utilisation of hard anodised crush tubes
on key applications where weight and
durability are critical.
- Supaloy alloy control arm systems - New
leaner, lighter alloy solution helping lower
weight, while improving service life and
reliability. These solutions are cost effective
as a replacement (eg. New X-trail alloy
lower control arm with bushings is cost
effective when compared to OE solutions)
while also significantly improving handling
via improved suspension geometry
- Super high compliance polyurethane
matrix -- SuperPro uses specially blended Polyurethane that is super soft
while also exhibiting extreme resistance to abrasion and self-lubricating
properties. SuperPro developed this material and is a key reason why
noise, vibration and harshness is significantly less when compared to
other compounds which are typically harder and less durable.
As the leaders in precision engineered suspension parts and poly bushings,
it is SuperPro's DNA to continue on a path of innovation. Many of these
innovations have created whole new industry product groups and solutions
that give the customer greater choice.
SuperPro is determined to continue to innovate because as Mr Scudamore-
Smith said: "Put simply -- we love this stuff!"
"POLY.... WE LOVE THIS STUFF"
SuperPro has long been passionate about quality design and innovation. The company has been pivotal in the evolution of
technology in the industry having introduced many game changing solutions including:
