Mantic Engineering makes a splash at the 2012 PRI show
Continuing the company's USA marketing campaign, the Mantic Engin

PRI Show held in Orlando, Florida.
While Mantic is still a new name to some, the company has m
experience in Australia manufacturing all types of clutches.
The company has now put that expertise into the developme
performance, modular street and track clutches and made
performance enthusiasts in the USA.
With Mantic Engineering announcing the appointment of a lo
chain manager in North America, customers now have the ability
their order shipped overnight throughout North America.
Mantic sales manager, Chris Astbury, said the 2012 PRI Show
successful for Mantic Engineering.
"This is our fourth year in the USA and we were very pleased wi
performance racing enthusiasts at the show. We had a number of pe
on lead up emails and from seeing us in previous years, wanting
product." he said

Mr Astbury said in addition to static displays, the company also showcased its 9 twin disc clutch within a C6
corvette on the stand.
"We encouraged people to sit in the car and feel the actuation and pedal effect of the twin disc fitted to the C6
corvette," he said.
"People were amazed that a clutch with such a good pedal feel could also handle over 1000 foot pounds of
"We have had such a great response to this show and a very strong interest from all over the world to stock and
sell our Mantic range, we are now looking at other overseas trade shows we can exhibit at," Mr Astbury said.
"We are fortunate to be supported by an active engineering group which has provided the Mantic program with
world competitive products and design features, setting our clutches apart from our competitors including the
inclusion of the patented ER2 groove design, which effectively increases the mean effective radius of the pressure
plate improving the torque capacity of the clutch by an additional eight percent.
"This clutch kit also features increased cover assembly clamp load and a higher coefficient of friction and in
combination with the ER2 groove design increases torque capacity by up to 60 percent."
Mantic clutches have been extensively tested both within Mantic's own test facilities in Australia and in field trials
locally and overseas, in vehicles ranging from stock V8 Commodores to full blown Z1R Corvette race cars.
New Jersey's East Coast Supercharging is one of Mantic's USA development partners and has been fitting Mantic
clutches for almost two years.
Director Doug Ring declared that he loved the Mantic clutch.
"We have been fitting these clutches without any problems or issues and with full customer satisfaction, they
drive well and handle the power; you couldn't ask for anything more," he said.
Perhaps love is a little strong, but there appears no doubt in Mr Ring's mind that the Mantic program offers a
compelling performance profile.
