BILSTEIN REJOINS BRANDS OF THE
Suspension specialist represents the automotive industry in the anniversary Brands of the Century edition.
Bilstein is once again a member of the
exclusive 'Brands of the Century' circle in
Publishing company Deutsche Standards
Editionen awarded the company the title in its
anniversary edition issued by publisher and
publicist Dr Florian Langenscheidt.
The elaborately designed anniversary
edition, published in German, English and
Chinese, is titled Beacons in the Sea of Brands
and is associated with the Brand Prize of
Deutsche Standards, recognising brands which
have come to stand for a particular industry.
Bilstein Head of Marketing, Thomas
Wörmann, received the coveted prize on
November 22 at a major brand gala held at
the Hotel Adlon in Berlin.
This was the second time that Bilstein
received the award, after the suspension
components manufacturer represented the
industry in the 2010 Brands of the Century
A high calibre advisory committee
consisting of brand experts from the media,
industry and creative sector fields selected the
brands for inclusion.
Bilstein regards its nomination as a clear
vote of confidence in the high quality of its
suspension technology products.
Deutsche Standards Editionen was
founded in 2002 and in 2003 work began on
creating the Brands of the Century volume
which was presented at the Frankfurt Book
Fair, signalling the start of the Deutsche
Standards success story.
